David Katzman Launches New Venture Group

David Katzman joins Board of leading allergen barrier Products Company

Farmington Hills, MI (October 10, 2008) David Katzman and 3 former members of Camelot Ventures have started a new venture capital firm, Camelot Venture Group. The new company will be led by Managing Partner David Katzman who served in that same role for 9 years at Camelot Ventures.

“I’m really excited about starting Camelot Venture Group and the opportunities we have,” said David Katzman. “Our team has worked together for many years; we have complimentary skill sets and have been very successful in the past”.

The new company will leverage their experience and expertise and will look to make investments and acquisitions in the ecommerce, retail, catalog, technology, financial services and sports management sectors. Current investments as part of their previous company, Camelot Ventures, include Quicken Loans, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Fathead, Flashseats and ePrize. Katzman is the Vice Chairman and a Board member of Quicken Loans and Vice Chairman of the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition, Mr. Katzman is the Managing Member of the Board of Flashseats LLC, Fathead LLC, and a member of the Board of Directors of ePrize.
